第一段：Man's youth is a wonderful thing: it is so full of anguish and of magic and he never comes to know it as it is, until it has gone from him forever. It is the thing he cannot bear to lose, it is the thing whose passing he watches with infinite sorrow and regret, it is the thing whose loss with a sad and secret joy, the thing he would never willingly relive again, could it be restored to him by any magic.

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease.

Years may wrinkle the skin but will not destroy its essence; however, we lose all beauty and charm with the passing of time. We experience youthful grace when we see ourselves and others, and we experience eternal age as we get older.
Regardless of whether you are 60 years old or 20, there is in every man's heart the allure of wonders, the desire for adventure, and the joy of living life.
Every individual's heart holds a wireless station; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, courage, and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young.
When your spirit reaches the sky (you have aged), and your soul is covered with cynicism and pessimism, then you've grown old, even at 20; but if you remain active in thinking about things of beauty, hope, courage, and power from men and from infinity, so long as you are young.
When your eyes are fixed on the sky (you have aged), you may die young at eighty.
But even when you are old, you can keep alive in your heart and mind. For if your spirit is up, and your soul is bright, so is life; your thoughts of beauty, hope, courage, and power from men and from infinity will make the world brighter.
Even as you reach eighty years, it's not all or nothing. There are still chances for growth and progress in your life.
